Neoadjuvant Tirellizumab Combined With Chemotherapy for Early Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma(HNC-SYSU-004)
Surgery is usually the first choice for early-stage oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). However, there is currently a lack of consensus on whether patients with clinically negative cervical lymph nodes (N0) should undergo elective neck dissection (END) at the same time. About 20-30% of cT1-2N0M0 oral cancer patients have occult lymph node metastasis, and existing examination methods cannot accurately predict occult cervical lymph node metastasis. Therefore, most clinical retrospective and prospective studies recommend END for cN0 patients. Previous studies have found that no cancer cells were found in the cervical lymph nodes of 70%...

Neoadjuvant Tislelizumab Plus Chemotherapy for Locally Advanced Oral/Oropharyngeal Cancer (NeoSPOT)
Previous studies confirmed locally advanced oral/oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LA OSCC or OPSCC) patients with a pathological response had higher probability of survival in neoadjuvant settings. Several ongoing trials of neoadjuvant immunotherapy in head and neck cancer showed promising results. However, the optimal regimen remains unclear. This trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant therapy with anti-programmed cell death 1 monoclonal antibody Tislelizumab and chemotherapy, followed by surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy plus Tislelizumab in LA OSCC or OPSCC.

Neurosensorial Disorder and Pain in Oral Cavity and Oropharynx Cancer Traited Patients (OCAPA)
Following preliminary studies carried out in our department on these subject and subjective findings during clinical examinations, it has been shown that pain is a symptom that is rarely reported following treatment. Instead, neurosensory disorders such as hypoesthesia and paresthesia are found. The objective of the study is to map and qualitatively evaluate neurosensory disorders in patients treated for cancers of the oral cavity and oropharynx.

Newer Therapeutic Targets in Head and Neck Cancers
Based on the recently identified mutations in HNSCCs, the major pathologic pathways implicated in the tumorigenesis of HNSCC include dysregulation of four processes: 1. cellular survival and proliferation (e.g., TP53, EGFR, MET, and PIK3CA); 2. cell-cycle control (e.g., CDKN2A and CCND1); 3. cellular differentiation (e.g., NOTCH1); and 4. Adhesion and invasion signaling (e.g., FAT1).7 TP53, EGFR, PIK3CA, CDKN2A, CCND1, and MET participate in several common signaling pathways. Alterations of these genes are most frequently seen in alcohol and tobacco-related HNSCC. However their role in prognostication...

Non-randomized, Open-label Study of Intralesional Nivolumab for High Risk Oral Premalignant Lesions
To characterize the safety and tolerability of nivolumab injected intralesionally in patients with high-risk oral premalignant lesions.

ONS in Gastric Cancer After Total Gastrectomy
Gastric cancer patients after total gastrectomy will be randomized to oral nutritional supplement group or control group at discharge. Patients will receive 6 months of oral nutritional supplement or normal diet after discharge. The primary and secondary outcomes will be collected.

ONS in Gastrointestinal Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy
The study hypothesizes that the addition of oral nutrition supplement concurrent chemotherapy treatment to the GI cancer patients will improve the prognosis of cancer cachexia, improve health state quality of life and increase chemotherapy tolerance

Open-Label, Dose-Escalation With Expansion to Assess the Safety, Tolerability, and PK of TRE-515 in Subjects With Solid Tumors
TRE-515 is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor of deoxycytidine kinase (dCK) that is being developed for oral administration in patients with solid tumors. In cancer cells, rapid and upregulated DNA replication creates high replication stress, as such, cancer cells are more susceptible than normal cells to perturbations in nucleotide metabolism by DNA-targeting treatments such as TRE-515. The Primary objective is too determine the safety and maximum tolerability of TRE-515 when administered orally once daily as a single agent. The secondary objective is to establish a recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D), to characterize ...

Optical Sensor for Photodynamic Detection of Oral Pathology
Overall objective of this work is to develop better ways of detecting, diagnosing and measuring oral diseases and structures using light and optical approaches. All different areas of the mouth will be imaged, including healthy, diseased, dysplastic and malignant, as well as oral biofilm, and the imaging data compared against conventional diagnostic approaches such clinical and histopathological and molecular evaluations to (1) gain a better understanding of processes involved in oral pathology and (2) develop a combined patient specific, non-invasive method for the detection, diagnosis and screening of oral pathology and biofilm....

Optimisation of Potential Dental Implant Sites Protection for Rehabilitation in Patients With Head and Neck Cancer: Impact of Virtual Implants Visualisation on Dosimetry (OPPIDOM)
This is a monocentric, non-randomized, prospective, in silico feasibility study conducted by Strasbourg Europe Cancerology Institute. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the optimisation of potential dental implant sites protection, without degrading tumor volume coverage, through designation of potential dental implant sites before volume delineation and dosimetry calculations in patients with oropharyngeal or oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma treated by radiotherapy.
