Intestinal Microbiome, Oral Microbiome, and Whole Blood Transcriptome Analyses in Gastrointestinal Malignancies
The primary objective of this prospective observational study is to characterize the gut and oral microbiome as well as the whole blood transcriptome in gastrointestinal cancer patients and correlate these findings with cancer type, treatment efficacy and toxicity. Participants will be recruited from existing clinical sites only, no additional clinical sites are needed.

Larotrectinib for the Treatment of NTRK Amplification Positive, Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors
This phase II trial studies the effect of larotrectinib in treating patients with NTRK gene amplification positive solid tumors that have spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or other places in the body (metastatic). Larotrectinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

The purpose of this study is to see if the study drugs, lenvatinib and pembrolizumab, are effective in treating advanced Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) or other salivary gland cancers that have come back and/or spread to other parts of the body. Magnetic Localization of Sentinel Nodes in Squamous Cell Oral Carcinoma.
Sentinel node biopsy has been shown to be a viable alternative to elective neck dissection in the early stages of squamous cell oral carcinoma. The aim of this study was to describe the magnetic localization of sentinel nodes (SN) after peritumoral injection of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) for treating this type of tumor and to analyze the technique's diagnostic performance in 23 patients. Mandibular Reconstruction Preplanning (ViPMR)
Virtual Surgical Planning (VSP), where 3D modeling is used to create 3D-printed surgical guides, has been shown to improve outcomes for patients who undergo mandibular reconstruction surgery, usually due to invasion of cancer from the oral cavity to the jaw. This trial will directly compare the outcomes of patients who receive VSP versus patients who receive the current standard of care, which is Free-Hand Surgery (FHS). This phase II trial studies if talazoparib works in patients with cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced) and has mutation(s) in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) damage response genes who have or have not already been treated with another PARP inhibitor. Talazoparib is an inhibitor of PARP, a protein that helps repair damaged DNA. Blocking PARP may help keep cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die.
