4 Courses vs 2 Courses of Pembrolizumab Combined With Carboplatin and Albumin-binding Paclitaxel of Neoadjuvant Therapy in HNSCC
In this study, 200 patients with resectable head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (T3 or T4, N0) were enrolled and preoperatively combined with pembrolizumab (PD-1 inhibitor), carboplatin, and albumin-binding paclitaxel. The subjects were randomly divided 1:1 into four treatments and two treatments. The imaging and pathological changes of tumor and paracancer tissues before and after treatment were observed. Clinical information, such as pathological grade, stage, treatment, prognosis, serology, imaging, etc., was collected to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 4-course pembrolizumab combined with carboplatin and albumin-binding ...

Addition of Aspirin to Standard of Care in Oral Cancer
Despite accumulating evidence of the benefit of aspirin in cancer, its effect on improving cancer survival is still debated since the mechanism by which it impacts cancer survival is not completely understood and the published data are discordant. There have been 4 randomized controlled trials (RCT) showing mixed results from no effect to improved survival. Several retrospective and observational studies have reported a survival advantage of adding aspirin to the treatment for various cancers. A meta-analysis of 118 studies, 63 of them specifically reporting on cancer mortality and the rest on all-cause mortality, found a 21% reduction in ...

Adherence to Oral Therapies in Advanced Breast and Prostate Cancers
AdOTAC is a pilot study, open, prospective, single-center, one-arm. The 200 patients will be included. Patient is included at Day 0. The included patient will have the opportunity to complete the self-questionnaires either at the ICL on Day 0, or at home up to 10 days after the date of inclusion in the study. Blood samples are collected the day of enrolment (Day 0) in order to measure the following biological markers: ferritin, serum iron, TSAT, albumin, and haemoglobin, except if performed as part of routine care in the previous 6 weeks.

Administration of ONS Based on Purple Sweet Potato in Head and Neck Cancer Patients With Radiotherapy
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the effect of local food-based oral nutritional supplements (ONS) containing immunonutrients (omega-3 and anthocyanins) on nutritional status and inflammatory response in head and neck cancer patients receiving radiotherapy. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is there any effect of local food-based oral nutritional supplements (ONS) containing immunonutrients (omega-3 and anthocyanins) on the nutritional status? - Is there any effect of local food-based oral nutritional supplements (ONS) containing immunonutrients (omega-3 and anthocyanins) on inflammatory...

ADOPT-PRESTAGE: Study Evaluating the Impact of the Program PRESTAGE
As the proportion of oral anticancer treatments is continuously increasing, adherence appears as a major issue for patients' outcomes. Poor adherence affects particularly geriatric patients due among others to polypharmacy or cognitive impairment. Thus, the need for educational programs in this population has been regularly emphasized. PRESTAGE educational program was built after an external and internal analysis of educational needs in elderly patients treated with oral cancer treatments. It implicates a multidisciplinary educational team (nurses, physicians, pharmacists, psychologists, physiologists, social workers...). Six...

A Dye for the Detection of Cancer of the Tongue and Mouth
The purpose of this study is to test if an investigational dye, called PARPi-FL, can be used to detect this type of cancer. This will be the first time that PARPi-FL is being tried in people. First, the investigators will test the safety of PARPi-FL at different doses to find out what effects, if any, it has on people. The investigators will also see which amount of PARPi-FL is best suited to detect cancers of the mouth and tongue.
